Dunphy Inquiry: Heated cross examination of police officer
This cross examination is part of a provincial commission of inquiry into a police shooting In Newfoundland. The commission was called after RNC Constable Joe Smyth shot and killed Don Dunphy in his home. The constable went there to ask Dunphy about tweets that appeared to threaten the premier. The RCMP and former chief justice Leo Barry found the shooting justified and recommended changes be made to policing policies and practices.
