In the nineteenth century, it was reimagined as a musical setting of a poem by the Tang Dynasty-era poet Zhang Ruoxo, called Chun Jiang Hua Yue Ye, where this piece got its name. It has since been arranged for Chinese national orchestra and continues to be part of the solo repertoire for Pipa and Guzheng in particular."
